Venom is one of my favorite Marvel characters, and I wanted to make one in a different scale from the Horizon kit version.

This guy is about six inches tall and was made using a Ripclaw figure from McFarlane's Image 10th anniversary series.

I dremeled off all of the surface details except for the musculature, and I filled the joints and sculpted the head using Aves apoxie sculpt.

I painted in the spider logo freehand, and then added some subtle blue highlights to the muscles with blue chalk pastels.
