I rarely use putty if the seams join good, so I pretty much rely on a good sanding
and paint job! I only use Apple Barrel acrylic craft paint from Wallyworld and its all
hand painted. No spray paints or primers. I only use 7 colors. Red, Yellow, Blue,
Green, Brown, and of course Black & White. Any others colors are mixed from
the basic 5, then lightened or darkened. I RARELY use washes! I start with a
dark base color and then dry-brush with 2 to 3 lighter colors,
then apply a lite matte finish.
